Taxes are for wimps
No wonder the French ecosystem is behind. (disclaimer: I helped run an accelerator there an believe that it’s growing with an increasing talent pool, but…) While the government is generally in support of innovation and building more favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, if they really wanted to take a leap forward - they could do something like Ireland did. Build great tax programs for corporations - then they’d have a chance to land huge tech companies and help spur the ecosystem there. Not to mention increase the already large pool of engineers.
